Wind turbines includes sections with extrimly highvoltage and energy located on a very limited space which make the ARC-detection system the prefered system to supervise for possible breakdowns. ARC-fault is normally caused by fault in the highvoltage insulation or high power relaycontacts. The ARC-detection sensor is therefor placed close to high risk components in the installation, in order to detect the fault as early as possisble. The reactiontime of the ARC-detection system is less then 1mS which make the following process to bring the wind turbine fast back to a safety state, very important.
A major fault in the wind turbine can have catastrophic impact on the wind turbine, which make the use of the ARC-detection system to a good investment.

The new E-series is made to fit into a standard DIN-rail, in order to merge with the standard circuit breaker racks used in private homes. As the E-series combines a number of sensor types the installation in private homes can be supervised effectively and the necessary action can be made to bring the installation in a safe state.
As the highvoltage solarpanels and invertere getting more and more common on private homes, the need for supervision of the standard home installation will be more relevant in the future.
